Pass Plus is a training course for people who have already passed their driving tests and are looking to further and develop their driving skills. It can be taken at any point after completion of the driving test but is most useful within a year of passing. On completion of the Pass Plus course (a minimum of 6 hours) you may be eligible for a discount on your car insurance.
Pass Plus is made up of 6 different modules, covering driving:
- in town
- in all weathers
- on rural roads
- at night
- on dual carriageways
- on motorways
All modules are practical based, although will include some theory depending on local conditions. Their is no test to take, although our instructors will be assessing you throughout the course. On successful completion of the course you will receive a certificate which you will need when applying for a discount in your car insurance. Not all insurers offer a discount so you will need to check with them.
The cost of the Pass Plus course is £360. For more information please email Kent County Council at [email protected]
